Come Thou Fount

Hey.

I don't have much to say
Grace has saved me.
Pray and read these lyrics
They will change your life
They have changed mine.

Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing: "
Come, thou Fount of every blessing,
tune my heart to sing thy grace;
streams of mercy, never ceasing,
call for songs of loudest praise.
Teach me some melodious sonnet,
sung by flaming tongues above.
Praise the mount! I'm fixed upon it,
mount of thy redeeming love.

2. Here I raise mine Ebenezer;
hither by thy help I'm come;
and I hope, by thy good pleasure,
safely to arrive at home.
Jesus sought me when a stranger,
wandering from the fold of God;
he, to rescue me from danger,
interposed his precious blood.

3. O to grace how great a debtor
daily I'm constrained to be!
Let thy goodness, like a fetter,
bind my wandering heart to thee.
Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it,
prone to leave the God I love;
here's my heart, O take and seal it,
seal it for thy courts above."

I have fallen, I am bruised
Sometimes it is hard to go on,
Those are the days when I lock myself in the prayer chapel and sing this song as loud as I can.
My King reigns.
Period.
End of story.

For His Glory,

The meaning of the name...

Here goes nothin... I remember thinking these thoughts on my way to English Composition on my first day of classes. These thoughts, along with: Holy crap, I'm in college. I also think that if for some reason I ever decide to put out an album, which I probably will, this may be the title. For now however, it will serve as a reminder to the steps of faith I took to get where I am now. I don't have the money to be here, and I am a sinner. Why am I studying the bible? This whole journey has been a long, never ending prayer. The only way I can be here is through faith.
My God has put me through plenty of ridiculous things in the last few years and has now brought me to this point where I can learn about him. I hope and pray that this blog can be a catalyst for my feelings, emotions, thoughts and maybe even my songs or poetry toward my father. I want this blog to be a complete act of surrendered worship to my King. Life is and amazing adventure and we are all truly blessed. I want this blog to be a fresh realization of God's goodness in my life, and I want to share it all with you. Please pray, and feel free to worship with me in this journey
And so, because of my faith, i will jump in feet first to this mystery that they call college. My God Reigns, and it is evident that he is working here. He gave me his son and now it is time for me to give him something in return. Here goes nothin...
